Safety is something that is in the forefront of everyone’s mind whilst at work but that does not mean that we should overlook safety when we get home. With summer being here lots of us want to get out in the garden and crack on with some DIY. Below are some handy tips to ensure you stay safe whilst being out in the garden during the summer months:
You should never use electrical appliances outside unless it is completely dry.
Always conduct visual checks before using any electrical appliance. Check that the wires and plug are in good condition. If it doesn’t look safe, it probably isn’t. Don’t take the chance!
